Ken Grey (single rider): Riding For a Hero
BY KEN GREY

I rode for my son, Billy, who is twelve years old. In November 1999 he had emergency surgery to remove a brain tumor. Since then he has endured radiation and chemotherapy.
He has continued to go to school. Billy is a hero to many people.
This year his school, the Albany Academy, honored him with the Simmons Award, which exemplifies the outstanding qualities of an "A" student.
He is an inspiration to everyone whose life he touches.

Ken Grey began his "riding crusade" in 2000, participating in the Brain Tumor Society's ride for Research in the Boston area.  With the assistance and direction of his associates at Marshall & Sterling, Ken was able to bring establish fundraising efforts and continues to bring to a new level!

In 2005, with help of friends and family, Ken and Cheri Grey brought the event to Saratoga Springs, New York and is now known as the "Team Billy Ride and Walk for Research".
